Two QRs, two purposes.
Your credential QR proves your qualifications. Your optional emergency QR — printed separately on a hard hat sticker, wallet card, or vehicle dash — gives first responders blood type, allergies, medications, and an emergency contact. Two codes, two symbols (shield for credentials, medical cross for emergency).
Disabled by default. The credential QR never reveals medical data. You control the emergency QR: enable it, disable it, rotate the token. Every scan is hash-chain ledgered and visible in your dashboard.

Forensic chain-of-custody reports anchor credential state at the incident timestamp into a hash-chain ledger, signed via GPG, and bound to a Bitcoin block via OpenTimestamps — the report's existence at-or-before that block time is mathematically uncontestable.
Insurers, lawyers, MOL inspectors can independently re-verify the cryptographic chain without a Meritus account. This is the kind of evidence that survives cross-examination.
