Meritus is a worker-owned credential registry that doubles as a life-safety beacon and a court-grade forensic record. Workers upload their credentials, swear a legally binding oath of veracity, and receive a permanent, verifiable profile with a QR code. Employers verify credentials in seconds by scanning the QR or entering a serial number, and can file incidents against credentialed workers with cryptographic chain-of-custody. Workers can optionally enable a separate emergency profile for first responders.
